FLOYD WALTERS

Floyd Walters, 79, of the 5900 block of Woodstock Court, died May 2, 1997, in a local hospital. Mr. Walters, a native of Charleston, S.C., was a longtime resident of Virginia Beach.

An automobile salesman, Mr. Walters will be remembered by all who knew him as a man of integrity, a caring friend and a loving husband and father.

Survivors include his wife, Gladys; his son, Buck; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Jess Jackson will officiate a memorial service at 3 p.m. today in Westwood Hill Baptist Church, Woodstock Road, Virginia Beach. Mr. Walters will be buried in Charleston on May 6 at 10 a.m. at Carolina Memorial Gardens. Donations may be made to the American Lung Association or Westwood Hill Baptist Church in lieu of flowers.
