LOUISE WILLIAMS

Ella Louise Williams, 90, of the 2600 block of Plumlee Drive died May 6, 1997, in her residence.

A native of Portsmouth, she was the widow of J. Frank ``Weenie'' Williams. She was a member of Cradock Presbyterian Church, Zulek Court No. 35, Ladies Oriental Shrine North America Club 13, Hillbilly Band of Shrine, Portsmouth Ladies Shrine Club, past president of Richard Dale Women's Club and United Daughters of the Confederacy.

Survivors include three daughters, Betty Williams Whitaker of Chesapeake, Frances Williams Hedrick of Monroe, N.C., and Judith Williams Cherry of Edenton, N.C.; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Thursday in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Richard Lovingood. The family will receive friends at the residence. Memorial contributions may be made to Cradock Presbyterian Church or the Alzheimer's Association. Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, is in charge. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
