Hilda Outland Chalkley, 85, died May 6, 1997.
Mrs. Chalkley was a member of Rich Square Baptist Church, but spent most of her life in Norfolk.
Survivors include her brother, Wallace James Outland of Williamsburg; a sister, Ruth Outland Peele of Rich Square; brother, Jasper Outland of Suffolk; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. today at Rich Square Baptist Church by the Rev. Bob Rogers. Burial will follow in Cedar Lawn Cemetery. The family will meet at the home of her sister in Rich Square one hour prior to the service today. Memorial contributions may be made to Rich Square Baptist Church. Jackson Funeral Home is in charge.
