FREDERICK R. THOMAS

Frederick Reide Thomas, 68, of the 5800 block of S. Ottawa Road, passed away May 6, 1997, in Sentara Leigh Hospital.

He was the son of Lester and Georgia P. Thomas. A native of Melfa, Va., on the Eastern Shore, and a member of Hollies Baptist Church, Keller, Va., Mr. Thomas was sales manager with Suttle Motor Co. for over 20 years ago.

Survivors include his wife, Aileen T. Thomas; two sons, Glenn and Lester; two daughters, Rebecca Nienstedt and Julie May; five grandchildren; and two brothers, Stewart and James Thomas.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in Rosewood Memorial Park by the Rev. Kelly J. Burris. The family received friends in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel.
