Williamsburg City Council members said Thursday they need at least another month to decide whether the city should help pay for a minor league baseball stadium.
Complaining that the city's immediate financial commitment is unclear, the council voted 4-1 to table a resolution agreeing to contribute funding over 20 years for stadium construction.
York County, Williamsburg and James City County must approve funding for the stadium to become a reality. York County OK'd it Wednesday; James City County votes May 27.
