MYRTIE H. NELMS

Myrtie Seward Holland Nelms, 77, died Friday, May 9, 1997, in Suffolk.

She was a native of Isle of Wight County and a homemaker. Mrs. Nelms was a member of Pine Grove Assembly of God Church, Windsor.

Mrs. Nelms was the widow of Wilbur R. Nelms.

Survivors include five daughters, Jeanette N. Byrum, Betty N. Pulley, Marilyn N. Edwards, Sharon N. Jones and Donna N. Jones, all of Windsor; two sisters, Dorothy H. Brinkley of South Hill, Va., and Irene H. Wilson of Windsor; and 12 grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Colonial Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Anthony Graffam. Burial will follow in Holly Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. Sunday in Colonial Funeral Home and suggests that memorial contributions may be made to Pine Grove Assembly of God Church, 10001 Firetower Road, Windsor, Va. 23487.
