Great Bridge football coach Dennis Meyers resigned Friday.
Meyers' Wildcats went 1-9 in his only season at the helm. He is moving with his new wife to Atlanta.
``Dennis left in the best of circumstances,'' Great Bridge principal Bob Robinson said. ``He had to make a decision between his job and family.''
Robinson said a search for a new coach will begin immediately. Interested coaches can send their applications to Robinson at the school.
