T. Calvin Bishop, 87, died May 11, 1997, in DePaul Medical Center.
Mr. Bishop was born in Scranton, N.C., and was a retired engineer from Sunlight Laundry. He was a member of Ocean View 60 Plus Club and Moose Lodge No. 39 Azalea Garden. He was a World War II veteran of the Merchant Marines. He was the son of the late Thomas Credle Bishop and Nannie Cox Bishop.
Survivors include his wife, Roberta D. Bishop; a daughter, Dina B. Peterson of Rescue, Va.; two granddaughters; a grandson; and a great-grandson.
A graveside service will be private. Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is in charge. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
