Wade Paul Woods, 57, of the 200 block of Sykes Ave., died May 12, 1997.
Mr. Woods was born in Louden County, Va., and has been a resident of the Tidewater area for most of his life. He was a well-known musician in the Tidewater area. Mr. Woods was also a volunteer firefighter and a security guard for many years.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Woods; his mother, Elsie Woods of Chesapeake; a daughter, Clarene Parker of Norfolk; a son, Clarence West of Sterling, Va.; and a sister, Sylvia Sutton of Virginia Beach.
