HELEN E. WIMBISH

Helen Elizabeth Wimbish, 63, of Barclay Ave., died May 13, 1997, in her residence.

A native of Isle of Wight County, she was predeceased by her parents, James Bradshaw and Effie Cones Bradshaw, and her husband, William Alexander Wimbish. She was a member of Women of the Moose Lodge No. 966.

Survivors include two daughters, Shirley A. Payne of North Carolina and Arlene Faye Blanco of Portsmouth; a son, David A. Wimbish of Portsmouth; three sisters, Ann Teller and Frances Posey, both of Chesapeake, and Dot Wells of Portsmouth; stepmother, Allie L. Bradshaw of Suffolk; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens by the Rev. T.M. Frye. The family will receive friends in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, today from 7 to 8 p.m. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
