Ora Winfree, 87, formerly of Chesapeake, died May 7, 1997, in Garden Grove, Calif.
She was the widow of Vassie T. Winfree.
Survivors include two daughters, Frankie Manchester of New Hampshire and Ann Culp of Elizabeth City; a sister, Mozelle Phelps of North Carolina and 10 grandchildren.
