Charlotte Bright, 84, of the 3900 block of Race St., died May 15, 1997, in her residence. She was the widow of Thomas L. Bright, a member of Westhaven Baptist Church and the Westhaven Neighborly Club. She was a native of Norfolk.
Survivors include two daughters, Laura Smithwick of Portsmouth and Jean Alcocer of Chesapeake; four grandchildren, Dr. Karen Smithwick Kier of Virginia Beach, Lisa Breakfield, Joshua Alcocer and Jonathan Alcocer, all of Chesapeake; a great-granddaughter, Addie Smithwick Kier of Virginia Beach.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Olive Branch Cemetery by the Rev. W. Thomas Wood. Loving Funeral Home, Churchland, is in charge. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Association. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
