Mathew Herman Horman, 76, of the 800 block of Mayfield Ave., died May 15, 1997, in his home.
Born in Newark, N.J., he was retired from the Navy as a chief petty officer and veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He was a member of the Fleet Reserve (NU)60.
Survivors include his wife, Rose Horman of Norfolk, and a brother, Douglas Horman of Toms River, N.J.
A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends in their home. Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
