Edward Burgess, 44, of the 2200 block of Vantage Point, died May 14, 1997.
He was a tree surgeon and owner of Ed's Tree Service. Mr. Burgess was a native of Charlotte, N.C.
Survivors include his wife, Linda M. Burgess; two daughters, Alison Marie Burgess and Morgan April Burgess of Virginia Beach; a son, Austin Gregory Burgess of Virginia Beach; a sister, Linda Wallace of Charlotte; and numerous loving friends, especially Buster. He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family will receive friends in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial donations be made to your local SPCA. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
