ELYERT R. HARRISON

Elyert R. ``Pep Daddy'' Harrison, 89, of the 1000 block of Basie Crescent, died May 15, 1997, in Norfolk.

A retiree, he was a Chesapeake native and the widower of Ada H. Harrison. He was a member of Philippians Church of Christ Holy Disciples, Chesapeake, a deacon and an Army Air Forces World War II veteran.

Survivors include a son, Jasper E. Harrison Sr. of Portsmouth; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren; two daughters-in-law, Vernice Harrison and Dorothy Harrison; and a host of cousins, relatives and friends.

He was predeceased by a son, Raeminton Harrison, and by his sister, Alice Cowell.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Monday in Philippians Church of Christ Holy Disciples, Chesapeake, by Elder Mary L. Woodhouse. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park, Virginia Beach. Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home is in charge. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
