RAY ADDISON WRIGHT

Ray Addison Wright, 74, died May 17, 1997, at a local hospital.

A lifelong resident of Hampton Roads, Mr. Wright is a graduate of Norview High School, class of 1942, an ensign, purser and medical tech for the Merchant Marine during World War II, a member of Coleman Place Presbyterian Church of Norfolk, and had been with Woodbine for 30 years.

Mr. Wright is survived by three sons, Jeffrey Scott, Kermit Ray and Eric Wayne Wright; three daughters, Linda Lorraine Charlton, Susan Marie Stamm and Sandra Jean Hardy; a brother, Fred Shelton Wright; 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one niece and one nephew. Also surviving are two special friends, Ernie and Donna Gray, and a host of relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel, where the family will receive friends for an hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Epilepsy Association of Virginia. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
