KENNIE MCCLENNY

Kennie McClenny, formerly of the 800 block of Kilby Ave., died May 18, 1997, at 19823 Frances Drive, Dinwiddie.

He is survived by a son, John McClenny Jr. of Maryland; three daughters, Joyce Chambers and Nancy Banks of Maryland and Australia Bland of Dinwiddie; five grandchildren; two sisters, Mattie Young of Franklin and Maggie Stith of Portsmouth; a brother, Junius McClenny of Newport News; and a host of relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 22, at First Baptist Church, Maham St., Suffolk, by Dr. Issac Williams, pastor. Interment will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery, Suffolk. Relatives and friends are asked to assemble at 1:15 p.m. at Crocker Funeral Home, Suffolk, on the day of the service. The remains will be viewed at Tucker's Funeral Home, Petersburg, from 4 to 10 p.m. today and at Crocker Funeral Home from noon to 9 p.m. Wednesday and also from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday.
