Bernice Josephine Winger, a resident of Georgian Manor, died May 18, 1997, in a local hospital.
She was a graduate of Hamtramck High School, Detroit, Mich. She lived in Warren, Mich., on Curie Ave. She was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church, Warren. She was also a member of St. Elizabeth Fraternity, Secular Franciscan Order, of St. Michaels Catholic Church. She was retired from Republic Automotive Parts Inc.
She is survived by her daughter, Carletta Curling of Chesapeake; a granddaughter, Amy L. Curling also of Chesapeake; a foster-son, Jerry Wentzel of Troy, Mich.; and two foster-grandchildren, Sherry and Patrick Wentzel also of Troy; a sister, Genevieve Parij of Warren; a brother, Joseph Napierkoski of Warren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today in Kellum Funeral Home, Pleasant Hall Chapel. All other services will be held in Warren by Manswick Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
