Phillip Joseph Enrico, 62, of the 100 block of Yorkshire Court, died May 20, 1997, in his home.
A native of Portsmouth, he was a retired police captain in the Portsmouth Police Dept. He was the son of Eusebia A. Geluz of Washington, D.C., and the late Leoncio Enrico.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife, Dorothy Jean Lassiter Enrico; a daughter, Deborah Enrico of Eure, N.C.; two sons, Allen J. Enrico of Eure, Phillip J. Enrico Jr. of Mount Vernon, N.H.; a sister, Linda Givens of Miami, Fla.; three brothers, Richard Enrico of Fairfax, Va., David Geluz of Dover, Del., Bobby Geluz of Clinton, Md.; and two grandchildren.
A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at noon Friday in St. Therese's Catholic Church, 4137 Portsmouth Blvd., Chesapeake. Entombment will be at Damascus Christian Church Cemetery, Sunbury, N.C., with full police honor accorded by the Portsmouth Police Dept.
