Jessie White of the 600 block of Goff St. died May 21, 1997, in a local hospital.
A retired laundry worker, he was a Norfolk native and a member of United House of Prayer For All People, Church Street.
Survivors include his daughter, Margaret Swift of Norfolk; grandson, Robert A. Swift Sr.; 10 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Saturday in United House of Prayer for All People. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Friends may join the family at the residence. Graves Funeral Home is in charge. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
