Police are searching for leads after responding to a call late Saturday and finding Joel Knight, 19, shot outside 885 Washington Ave.
Knight, of the 800 block of Lexington St., was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, where he died at 12:08 a.m. Sunday, said police spokesman Larry Hill.
Police are investigating Knight's death as a homicide, but have no motives or suspects , Hill said. Anyone with information should call Crime Line at 664-4040.
Man shot in head, possibly after a domestic dispute
A man was shot in the head Sunday afternoon in the parking lot of an apartment building at 331 East Little Creek Road.
Police responded to a report of a shooting at 2:49 p.m. and took Terrance Johnson, 30, of the 300 block of Fort Worth Ave., to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital for treatment, Norfolk police spokesman Larry Hill said.
Johnson was shot on East Little Creek Road, but walked to his home on Fort Worth Avenue, Hill said.
Police are investigating the shooting in connection with a domestic dispute involving three people. No arrests had been made by Sunday night. Man dies in hospital from multiple gunshots
A 19-year-old Portsmouth man died from multiple gunshot wounds Saturday night.
Police are looking for the person who shot William Donte Lassiter while he was in the 1300 block of Denver Ave. some time before 11:30 p.m., police spokeswoman Amber Whittaker said.
Lassiter, of the 1600 block of Darren Circle, died shortly after arriving at an area hospital, Whittaker said. KEYWORDS: SHOOTING FATALITY MURDER
