Elese J. Harris, 77, of the 7000 block of Mamie Blvd. died Sunday, May 25, 1997, in DePaul Medical Center.
A native of Clio, S.C., she was a member of St. Mark United Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Elmer J. Harris of the home; daughter, Jean E. Macklin; brother, Ashbille Spears; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Thursday in St. Mark United Church of Christ, 521 Obendorfer Road, Norfolk, by the Rev. Thomas Hart. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be today from 2 to 8 p.m. in Riddick Funeral Service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 6 to 7 p.m. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
