EDWARD B. HUNNICUTT

Edward Barham Hunnicutt, 80, of the 1700 block of Bellevue Ave., died Tuesday evening, May 27, 1997.

He was a native of Isle of Wight County and a retired accountant. Mr. Hunnicutt was a member of Cold Harbor Road Church of Christ and a U.S. Army veteran serving in World War II. Mr. Hunnicutt was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard Clifton and Rebecca Emily Bell Hunnicutt, and a brother, Jennings Hunnicutt.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Lois Lemmon Hunnicutt; a daughter, Dianne H. Harlow of Richmond; a son, Gerald W. Hunnicutt of West Bloomfield, Mich.; a brother, John Clifton Hunnicutt of Chesapeake; five grandchildren, Matthew Hunnicutt, Carrie Hunnicutt, Jamie Hunnicutt, Ronnie Harlow and Katie Harlow.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Cold Harbor Road Church of Christ, Mechanicsville, by Minister Neal Pollard. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. in Old Brick Church Cemetery, Bacon's Castle, with Minister Bill Snell officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today in Colonial Funeral Home, Smithfield, and suggests memorial contributions may be made to Cold Harbor Road Church of Christ, P.O.
