MARGARET M. RICHARDSON

Margaret Marie Richardson of the 800 block of Channel Place died May 24, 1997, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

A native of Norfolk, she was a housewife and a member of Mount Lebanon Missionary Baptist Church, Bells Mills.

Survivors include her husband, William Richardson Sr.; a daughter, Marteal Burton of Brooklyn, N.Y.; a stepdaughter, Mary Elliott of Michigan; two sons, Carl Richardson of Chesapeake, William Richardson Jr. of Virginia Beach; five sisters, Annie Mae Smaw of South Norfolk, Sarah Franklin of Chesapeake, Reva Lambert of Norfolk, Marion Harvey of Chesapeake, Eva Robinson of Chesapeake; five brothers, Dennis Edmonds of Chesapeake, Morris Etheridge Jr. of Chesapeake, Luther Edmonds of Virginia Beach, Melvin Edmonds of Norfolk, Raymond Edmonds of Norfolk; three grandchildren and a great-grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Mount Lebanon Missionary Baptist Church, Bells Mills, by the Rev. Kim Brown. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. The remains will be ready for viewing at 3 p.m. Friday. The family will assemble at 840 Channel Place for the procession at 10 a.m. Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is in charge.
