CHESS AT THREE LEVELS

Northeastern High School senior Nick Williams, right in green shirt,

an N.C. Scholar, made a three-level chess board from plexiglass for

his senior project. Other students joined an impromptu game when the

board was put on display at the Elizabeth City school.
