Cecil Caryle Eure, 66, of Route 2, died May 28, 1997, in Roanoke Chowan Hospital.
A native of Gates County, he was a member of Eure Christian Church. He was a retired farmer. He was the son of the late Oscar and Mary Greene Eure.
Surviving are his wife, Erma Doughtie Eure; daughter, Connie Harrell of Gatesville; three sons, T.C. Eure of Eure and Danny J. Eure and Donnie Ray Eure, both of Gatesville; two sisters, Evie Howell of Eure and Ceclia Foutz of Gatesville; brother, Lloyd Eure of Eure; and 10 grandchildren.
A graveside service was conducted at 3 p.m. May 30 in Eure Christian Church Cemetery by the Rev. Wayne Gardner. Harrell Funeral Home, Gatesville, is in charge. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
