ELIZABETH G. HARRIS

Mrs. Elizabeth G. Harris of the 800 block of Virginia Beach Blvd. departed this life May 28, 1997, at Sentara Leigh Memorial Hospital after a short illness.

She was the wife of Mr. Lenton Harris Sr., who survives. Mrs. Harris was a native of Portsmouth where she received her early education.

Survivors in addition to her husband include a daughter, Mrs. Annette Outlaw (Don); two sons, Mr. Roscoe Morris and Mr. Lenton Harris Jr.; and a granddaughter, Anita Kea; five sisters, Mrs. Elsie S. Murphy (Howard) of Chesapeake, the Rev. Ann J. Fartineau (Arthur), Mrs. Peala Mae Bright (Lenene), both of Portsmouth, Mrs. Audrey W. Webb of Hampton and Mrs. Marilyn G. Williams (John) of Leesburg, Va.; three brothers, Mr. Roscoe Grant Sr. and Mr. George Grant Sr., both of Portsmouth, and Mr. L.D. Grant of Owensboro, Ky., and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends and very devoted friends, the Rev. and Mrs. Jake Manley.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Monday in New Calvary Baptist Church by the Rev. G.G. Campbell. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Cemetery. Graves Funeral Home is handling arrangements. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
