Sandra Louise Thorogood Boone, 29, of the 700 block of Thomas Circle died May 27, 1997, in Maryview Hospital.

A former retail clerk at Wal-Mart, she was a Portsmouth native and a member of Third Baptist Church, Portsmouth.

Survivors include her husband, Alton G. Boone; two sons, Dominic Boone and Delvon Bonne, both of Portsmouth; mother, Evelyn M. Thorogood of Portsmouth; five sisters, Amelia Horton, Wanda Gary, Pamela Gary, Deborah Thorogood Pretty and Angela Thorogood; three brothers, Kenneth Gary, Thomas Thorogood Jr. and Maurice Thorogood; five nieces, seven nephews; three great-nieces; uncle, Beverly V. Thorogood; and a host of cousins, in-laws and devoted friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Third Baptist Church, Portsmouth, by the Rev. Joe B. Fleming. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, Portsmouth. Viewing at Corprew Funeral Home, Portsmouth, will begin at 10 a.m. Monday. The body will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. Tuesday. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
