Minerva Finney, 75, of the 2700 block of Gatehouse Road died June 1, 1997.
A native of South Norfolk, she was a member of Gospel Light Holiness Church and was active with Chesapeake Senior Citizens and St. Joseph Catholic School.
Survivors include five daughters, Albertina Perry of Norfolk, Joyce Finney of Norfolk, Mara Finney of New York, Linda Brown of Chesapeake and Sandra Finney of Chesapeake; sister, Evelyn Jones of Norfolk; 12 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Friday in Gospel Light Holiness Church, Norfolk. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake, is in charge. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
