CORRECTIONS

The winner of a lottery to buy a single-family house in Norfolk's

Park Place will be chosen at the July 21 meeting of the Norfolk

Redevelopment and Housing Authority. A story in Sunday's Hampton

Roads section had the date wrong. The NRHA commissioners also will

meet June 16, but there is no meeting on June 21.

John W. Bell's photo exhibit is on view through June 30 at

Central Fidelity Bank Gallery at the World Trade Center in Norfolk.

A Best Bets item in Monday's Daily Break listed the wrong gallery.

Also, the phone number should have read 640-5081; the numbers listed

were incorrect.

Tom Watkins is a defense attorney for Zackary Anthony Carter of

Virginia Beach. Watkins' last name was wrong in a story Tuesday

about Carter's murder trial.

City Councilman G. Conoly Phillips spoke Monday at a conference

on hurricane disaster planning but he was not the conference

organizer, as stated erroneously in a headline in Tuesday's Metro

section. Jim Talbot and Troy Lapetina, of the Norfolk emergency

services office, organized the conference.
