MARTHA H. TURNBULL

Martha Holloway Turnbull died Tuesday, June 3, 1997, in a local hospital. She was a native of Norfolk and the daughter of the late Marian Elma Holland and Herman Holloway. She was the widow of Charles Dromgoole Turnbull Jr.

Mrs. Turnbull was a retired elementary schoolteacher with the Norfolk Public Schools for more than 30 years. She attended the College of William and Mary, Norfolk Extension, and graduated from Longwood College. She was a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church.

Survivors include a number of cousins.

A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday in St. Luke's Memorial Park, Smithfield, Va., by the Rev. Charles A. Joy. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 1004 Graydon Ave., Norfolk, Va. 23507. Cox Funeral Home is in charge. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
