JAMES E. MARROW

James ``Coon'' Edward Marrow, of the 1500 block of Conoga St., died May 30, 1997, in Hampton.

He was born in Halifax County, N.C., and worked at Norshipco and Metro Machine for many years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Chess of Norfolk; two sisters, Mary Andrews of Springfield Garden, N.Y., and Shirley Frazier of Freeport, N.Y.; brother, Roosevelt Marrow of Norfolk; three grandchildren, Keyoki Wilson of Norfolk, Kimberly Hall, Ray Hall, both of Maryland; devoted sister-in-law, Louise Marrow of Norfolk; four nephews, one devoted nephew, Lenwood R. Marrow, Anthony Andrews, both of Norfolk, Ronnie Andrews of Denver, Colo., Marvin Jr. of Virginia Beach; five nieces, Alfreda M. Shields of Chesapeake, Valerie Prayer of Virginia Beach, Marilyn Snead of Virginia Beach, Cynthia and Stacy Frazier of Freeport, N.Y.; great-nieces, Tamieka M. Davis and Melody T. Prayer, both of Virginia Beach and Monica D. Marrow of Clinton, Md.; great-great-nephew, Michael P. Davis Jr. of Norfolk; a devoted friend, Ralph L. Stancil and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was predeceased by his mother, Susan Marrow, father, Willie Marrow and three brothers, Lenwood, Richard and Raymond Marrow.

A funeral will be at noon today in Metropolitan Funeral Service by the Rev. Marvin L. Smith. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Family and friends will assemble at 1316 Wilson Road, Norfolk, one hour prior to the funeral. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
