Melanie D. Ferebee, 29, of the 800 block of 35th St., died June 3, 1997, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
She was a native of Norfolk and a member of Jerusalem Baptist Church, Norfolk.
Survivors include a daughter, LaKisha Ferebee; parents, Elizabeth Ferebee and James Ferebee Jr.; and a brother, Felix Ferebee.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at 718 Tidewater Drive, Norfolk, by Dr. Thomas Venable. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Family will be at 5413 Berry Hill Road, Norfolk.
