Ray Peterson Sr., of the 2900 block of Hollister Ave., died June 2, 1997.
He was a veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include a daughter, Derwanda Harris of Elizabeth City, N.C.; three sons, Ray Peterson Jr., Leslie Peterson, both of Norfolk, Darrion Harris of Rocky Mount, N.C.; four sisters, Evelyn Blackwell of Norfolk, Regina Collins of Suffolk, Barbara Bethea and Doretha Hunte, both of Maryland; brothers, Melvin H. Peterson of Richmond and Lathan Peterson Jr. of Norfolk; seven grandchildren; an aunt and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Community Funeral Home, Norfolk, by the Rev. Larry J. Herring. Burial will be in Hampton National Cemetery. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
