Martin G. Lisota, 71, a resident of Great Neck Villas, died Sunday, June 8, 1997, in a local hospital.
Mr. Lisota was born in Milwaukee and retired from the City of Milwaukee Fire Department after 30 years and Foley-Lardner Law firm after 10 years. He served in the U.S. Marine Air Corps during World War II and was a member of St. Mary's Star of the Sea Catholic Church, Virginia Beach.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley R. Lisota; two sons, Gary M. Lisota of Virginia Beach and Allen Lisota of Cudahy, Wis.; daughter, Nancy Bruege of Franklin, Wis.; six grandchildren, Mark Lisota of Virginia Beach, Christopher and Joe Lisota of Milwaukee and Stacy, Antoinette and Steven Bruege of Franklin, Wis.; brothers and sisters, Richard Lisota and Evenlyn Raskiewicz, both of Milwaukee, and Joan Borowski of Greenfield, Wis.
He was predeceased by his parents, Martin Sr. and Mary Lisota of Milwaukee.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday in St. Mary's Star of the Sea Catholic Church, Pacific Ave., Virginia Beach, by Father James E. Dorson. Burial will follow in Eastern Shore Chapel Cemetery, Laskin Road. The family will be at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, Virginia Beach, from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday to greet friends.
