MILDRED E. DIVELBISS

Mildred Evelyn (Kincaid) Divelbiss died June 8, 1997.

Born Jan. 30, 1914, in Gower, Mo., to Mildred and Charles Kincaid, she grew up in and attended school in Gower. In December 1929, she married Ivan Divelbiss. Together they had three sons, Dale, Dallas and Gilbert. Ivan's work required frequent family moves during the early years to Kansas, Nebraska, Colorado and North Carolina, as well as within Missouri, before settling in the Kansas City area for about 20 years. They then moved to Faucett, Mo.; Virginia Beach; Windsor, Va.; and then returned to Stewardsville, Mo. They have resided in Cameron, Mo., for about two years.

Mildred is survived by her husband, Ivan; sons, Dale Divelbiss of Knoxville, Tenn., Dallas Divelbiss of Virginia Beach; 15 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Charles (Bob) Kincaid of Boulder, Colo., Donald Kincaid of Stewardsville, Mo.; sister, Mary Parrish of Overland Park, Kan.; and a multitude of nieces, nephews and friends.

Mildred is a member of United Methodist Church, Faubion Chapel, Gladston, Mo.

Services will be held at Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel, 11 a.m. Wednesday with interment in Memorial Park, St. Joseph, Mo. Visitation will be in the chapel today from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
