Patricia S. Bishop, 70, died Monday, June 9, 1997, at Rex Hospital, Raleigh.
A native of Virginia Beach, she was employed many years as a fifth-grade teacher at W.T. Cooke Elementary School until her retirement in 1989. Mrs. Bishop was married to the late Roscoe H. Bishop and is survived by a daughter, Lisa Adams, of Hillsborough; son, Patrick Bishop, of Virginia Beach; and a granddaughter.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 21, in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Joseph and Kathleen Bryan Alzheimer's Disease Research Fund, Duke University, 2200 W. Main St., Suite A-230, Durham, N.C. 27705.
