Clara Elizabeth Bell of the 1500 block of Back Bay Landing Road died June 10, 1997.
A native of Princess Anne County, she was the widow of Richard W. Bell Sr. and a member of Little Piney Grove Baptist Church (Creeds), Virginia Beach.
Survivors include three daughters, Camilla Bell of Washington, D.C., Mary Holley of Columbia, Md., and Sadie Simpson of Lanham, Md.; a son, Russell Bell of Virginia Beach; 18 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; 35 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in Little Piney Grove Baptist Church (Creeds), Virginia Beach, by the Rev. M.E. Thompkins. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The remains will be in the church at 11 a.m. Monday. Viewing will be today from 1 to 7 p.m. The family will be at 1301 Graylyn Court, Virginia Beach.
