Clifton H. Morgan, 72, of the 2000 block of Camden Ave., died June 13, 1997, in Maryview Hospital.
A sheetmetal foreman at Norfolk Naval Base who retired after 35 years, he was a member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church and a former trustee and choir member.
Survivors include his wife, Mary G. Morgan; daughter, Robin M. Posey; two sisters, Edith Wesson and Marion Ashford; two brothers, Dennis Morgan and Russell Morgan; grandchild, Shevonne Morgan; great-grandchild, Jabria Caughman; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Mount Calvary Baptist Church by the Rev. W.S. Hampton. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Fisher Funeral Home is in charge. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
