Retired Navy SCPO Robert Clayton Killion, 77, died June 14, 1997 at DePaul Hospital.
Senior Chief Killion was born Dec. 8, 1919, son of the late Robert and Laura Mountain Killion. He was a member of Miles Memorial United Methodist Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars-Norfolk Chapter and the Navy Fleet Reserve Association. He served in the Navy for 23 years.
He is survived by two children, Robert S. Killion of Virginia Beach and Jennifer Holmes of Winston Salem, N.C.; a sister, Mildred Perminski of Monroe, Mich.; and four grandchildren.
