Love Berry Sawyer, 87, formerly of Preyer Ave., died at Sentara Barco Nursing Home on Sunday, June 15, 1997.
Born in Shawboro, she was formerly of Princess Anne County, Va., and a member of First United Methodist Church. She was a former member of Perkins United Methodist Church. Mrs. Sawyer was the daughter of the late William R. and Sue Sivills Berry and the widow of Harry Acey Sawyer.
She is survived by several cousins and is predeceased by a sister, Edna Fenstamacher.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Margaret Saunders officiating. The family will meet at Twiford's Memorial Chapel at 1 p.m. Tuesday.
