The city's first mosquito spraying of this year is scheduled for between 3 p.m. and sunset Tuesday and Wednesday over Craney Island and parts of Churchland. The spraying, if the weather and aircraft schedule permits it, will last about an hour.
Area beekeepers should take precautions to protect their hives.
Residents allergic to Dibrom should remain indoors for at least 30 minutes after the spraying.

Norfolk - The Cultural Alliance of Greater Hampton Roads will sponsor its annual June Jazz event June 19 from 6 p.m. until starlight. The garden party is hosted each year by Charles and Minette Cooper at their home on the shore of the Lafayette River.
