Earl Boster, 81, died June 16, 1997, in his home.
Mr. Boster was a native of Harrisburg, Pa. Mr. Boster was a retired purchaser for Electrical Suppliers Inc. in Norfolk after 23 years of service. He was very active in Temple Emanuel religious affairs serving as Gabbai and being a member of the Chevra Kadisha which is the Holy Burial Society.
Mr. Boster also conducted religious services at Beth Sholom Home and was a member of Jewish War Veterans and Brith Sholom of Virginia.
Survivors include his wife, Reva Kahan Boster of Virginia Beach; two sons, Guy Boster of San Francisco, Calif., and Howard Boster and his wife, Vivina, of Portland, Ore.; two stepsons, Dr. Bruce A. Kahan and his wife, Claudia, of Tampa, Fla., and Dr. Michael A. Kahan and his wife, Antoinette, of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Helen Rosen of Harrisburg, Pa., and Lillian Feunman of Pompano Beach, Fla.; two brothers, Rubin Boster of Harrisburg, Pa., and Morris Boster of Columbus, Ohio; and five grandchildren, Tania, Justin, Allison, Jack and Sam.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 18, 1997 at Gomley Chesed Cemetery, Portsmouth, by Rabbi Elliott Marmon.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Temple Emanuel or Beth Sholom Home. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, is handling arrangements. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
