MARY I. ETHERIDGE

Mary Inez Etheridge, 93, of the 3000 block of North Landing Road, died June 15, 1997.

She was a retired administrator for St. Joseph's Hospital, Louisville, Ky. Born in Jeffersonville, Ind., she was the widow of William E. Etheridge Sr. and a past member of Virginia Beach United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Women's Auxiliary of the Elks Lodge and Cocina Circle of The King's Daughters.

Survivors include a son, W. Edwin Etheridge Jr. of Virginia Beach; two grandchildren, Melinda Etheridge Slate and Steven A. Etheridge, both of Virginia Beach; two great-grandchildren, Tracie Slate and Eric Slate.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Walnut Ridge Cemetery, Jeffersonville, Ind., by the Rev. Bruce A. Barkhauer. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel, is handling arrangements.
