Margaret Ann Toomey, 89, of the 800 block of DeKalb Ave., died June 16, 1997, in her residence.
A native of Minorsville, Pa., she was the widow of John Walter Toomey Sr.
Survivors include two daughters, Patricia L. Brantner of Portsmouth, Janet Grant of Los Angeles, Calif.; a son, Russell D. Weyant of Chesapeake; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens by the Rev. G.W. Harley. The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. today. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
