LOUISIANA SEGURA

Louisiana Segura, 81, passed away June 15, 1997, at Virginia Beach Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Mrs. Segura was born June 2, 1916 in Franklin, La., daughter of the late Gilbert and Mary G. Tyler. She was a member of the Chapel of the Good Shepherd, Bow Creek Senior Citizens Organization and the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 93, Stevensville, Mt. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Segura.

She is survived by two daughters, Peggy A. Conner and her husband, Joseph of Virginia Beach and Patsy M. Nelson and her husband, Bruce of Stevensville, Mt.; four grandchildren, Katrina Dextradeur and her husband, Wyane of Coconut Creek, Fla., Michael Conner and his wife, Lydia of Virginia Beach, Kimber Lewis and her husband, Rodney, Lee Nelson, all of Stevensville; four great-grandchildren, Samatha Barlow of Virginia Beach, Austin Majette of Coconut Creek, Fla., Ashley Lewis and Marissa Lewis, both of Stevensville; a great-grandson, Ian Barlow of Virginia Beach; a half-sister, Betty Jacob of Franklin, La.; special friends, Jane and John DeSarro.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Virginia Beach. A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at Oceana N.A.S. Chapel of the Good Shepherd. Please call the funeral home for date and time.
