HARRIETT K. MOWER

Harriett Naomi King ``Ma'' Mower, 75, of the 8500 block of Chapin St. died June 16, 1997.

A native of Texar, Ala., she was predeceased by her husband, Marion Charles Mower. She was an honorary member of the Third Tradition Motorcycle Club and Supporters, where she was an adopted grandmother figure to many in the community.

Survivors include two daughters, Marion Kemp and her husband, Randall, of Pensacola, Fla., and Shelly Nichols and her husband, Martin, of Clouis, N.M.; four sons, Thomas Mower and his wife, Lisa, of Norfolk, Michael Mower and his wife, Pat, of Philippines, Robert and Betty of Jacksonville, Fla., and William Mower of Norfolk; sister, Edith Tinc of Jacksonville; brother, Cleborun King of Memphis; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, by the Rev. Charles Snead. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
