John T. Mabry, 60, of the 1400 block of Richmond Ave. died June 16, 1997.
He was a retired truck driver and merchant, a member and trustee of Mount Carmel Baptist Church and a member of Olympians Sport Club and Great Deep Creek Elk Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Clarice P. Mabry; two daughters, Carolyn Guyton and Angela Hill; four sons, John E. Mabry, Thomas E. Mabry, Milton Mabry, Michael A. Mabry; a sister, Sylvia Parker; two brothers, Andrew Mitchell and Earnest Mabry; and 12 grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Mount Carmel Baptist Church by the Rev. E.T. Knight. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Fisher Funeral Home is handling arrangements. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
