Leonard Wilson Chapman Jr., 70, of the first block of Fairway Drive, died June 18, 1997, in Suffolk.
A native of Portsmouth, he was a retired store manager for Sears, Roebuck and Co. and a member of Elizabeth Manor Golf and Country Club. He was a Methodist.
Survivors include his wife, Billie D. Chapman; three brothers, Frank C. Chapman of Orlando, Fla., John E. Chapman of Portsmouth and Donald E. Chapman of Miami.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Allen Dooley. The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. today. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to a favorite charity.
