AARON HARPER III

Aaron ``Boogie'' Harper III, 25, of the 5800 block of Branch St., died June 17, 1997, in Portsmouth General Hospital.

A native of Portsmouth, he is survived by his daughter, Takeia J. Gibbs of Chesapeake; parents, Dorothy C. Harper and Aaron Harper Jr., both of Portsmouth; sisters, Tamala L. Harper and Francine R. Harper, both of Portsmouth; brother, Charles R. Harper of Richmond; maternal grandmother, Irene Collins; paternal grandmother, Isadora Harper, all of Portsmouth; and a host of aunts, uncles, a nephew, cousins, in-laws and a very special friend, Saraya Cooper; and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Grove Baptist Church, Portsmouth, by the Rev. Melvin O. Marriner. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery, Portsmouth.
